My name is Nancy Mullins. When my first child Craig was born 39 years ago, the only day care that was available to me was for potty trained 3 year olds. Like most first time mothers, I couldn’t stand being away from him for too long. I worked a couple of part-time jobs so I was able to be with my new baby as much as possible. Since I was one of the only moms in my neighborhood staying at home, other parents began asking me to watch their children while they ran errands, got their hair done, went out to lunch with friends, etc.

Within a few months, several families asked if I would be willing to watch their children full time. Once I thought about it, I realized that it would be a dream come true. I could stay home with my child, plus bring in some extra money. I have been taking care of children, mine and others’, ever since.

I strongly believe that a loved child is a happy child, and it is my daily goal to give “my” children all the love I possibly can.

I’ve been a licensed daycare worker for the past 29 years and continue to take classes and workshops so that I can stay up to date on all that is childcare and continue to run a business that I truly enjoy.
